Abstract

This review article has the objective of presenting results and interconnections of different studies made on the coverage of climate change published until early 2018, in several countries, in order to verify the differences and similarities in relation to the Brazilian context. It seeks to advance in the discussion of the possible effects of journalistic coverage, especially on climatic risks and the ways to takle climate change. From a mapping of international research, articulates the ways of giving visibility to the issue fomented by the press on one of the most urgent and necessary themes of our contemporaneity, pointing out possible paths.
