The thriller in the Brazilian cinema

Violent crimes, investigations, corruption and police violence are narrative elements that characterize thrillers as genre films that became popular with Hollywood productions, but which are present in other film industries, including the Brazilian filmic production, where this aspect is little known and studied. For this reason, this article aims to categorize, contextualize and analyze the aesthetic and narrative points of view thrillers made in Brazil.
