The year reinforces the importance of reflecting on the roles of communication, politics and culture - our editorial tripod - in the search for bridges and windows to a world stunned by wars, inequalities and inhumanities. Alceu 51's interdisciplinary dialogues converge to meet these reflections and needs.
The third and final issue of 2023 welcomes the second volume of the Communication and Citizenship dossier. Organized by guest editor Gisela S. G. Castro, professor and researcher at the Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing de São Paulo (ESPM-SP), it discusses the challenges of contemporary communication dynamics, haunted by disinformation, to encourage citizen participation in the public sphere.
