The purpose of the article is to mobilize important historically important categories in the struggle of political change – such as feminism, racism and exile – and analyze how they appear in the movies of Agnès Varda. To think about the configuration of a political cinema of Varda, we will not take into account the pamphleteer or militant character in the understanding of politics, but we will bring cinematic practice closer to the philosophical practice of Hannah Arendt, who sought to clarify what she meant by politics not only through a conceptual discussion, but also for the narration of life stories.
