Abstract

Given that loss of privacy, and consequently increasing vigilance is one of the problems caused by the Internet, this legal precedent seems to be a gain for contemporary society: the right to be forgotten, the right to forget, the right To preserve their privacy from an ever-increasing vigilance. In this sense, this article has as main objective to analyze the relation between the internet, the vigilance and the forgetfulness. From these issues, it is believed that these spaces of forgetting must be created in the digital society, so that knowledge can be developed through a critical and dialectical movement.
