Peer Review Process
All works received go through an initial analysis by the Editorial Committee, to verify the relevance of the submission, regarding the scope and norms of the journal, in addition to the verification of plagiarism, using the tools Plagiarisma and Grammarly, following the indications of the Vice-Rector Academic at PUC-Rio in the anti-plagiarism policy.
If they are identified as plagiarism or if there is any incompatibility with the journal's guidelines, the author(s) will be duly informed about the refusal of the work.
If they fulfill the previous requirements, they will then be sent, in a blind evaluation system (without reference to authorship), for evaluation by reviewers, members of the Scientific Council or ad hoc reviewers, in the double-blind peer review model.
If there is a difference between the opinions, a third referee will be appointed. The author(s) are informed throughout all this process.
If necessary, the final decision on a paper is the responsibility of the journal's Editorial Committee.
The approval of translations, reviews and interviews is the responsibility of the journal's Editorial Committee.
